 At least at the ReactOS message boards, lots of people seems to care a lot about the GUI will be used on it - of course the Kernel issue is hugely more important (is the one truly make ReactOS working as it is now).
Otherwise, caring about the GUI may be important on future versions of ReactOS, about easyness of usage, productivity, and so on.
Since this project is focused on GUI issues, it's not that so targeted on ReactOS (ReactOS is priority because seems more needed of it) - this can be a nice resource for also open-source operative systems, like Aros or MenuetOS.
This project is mainly about GUI research, at the following items:
- history and references
- human interface guideline documentation
- used libraries and multi-platform compatibility
- file managers
- other issues related to GUI research
This project would care more about the ReactOS issue:
- the embrionary version of ReactOS GUI
- the possibility of choosing file managers and GUI on it
- the (bad) habit fact - the GUI issue beign a problem on ReactOS popularity (specially about transition) of having it close or far to common used w32 OS versions
